Steve is a retired Chief Security Officer (GS13) for Marine Corps Forces Reserve and Marine Corps Forces North, directing security programs and personnel for 170 Marine Corps Commands around the world. He is a certified and credentialed Security Specialist, Adjudicator, Investigator, and Inspector with more than 33 years of leadership experience. Steve retired as a Navy SEAL Officer in 2009 after 23 years of active military service. His tours of duty include SEAL Team 4, Naval Special Warfare Unit 8, SEAL Team 2, and Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team 6). Steve has worked with Military Groups, Intelligence Services, and Federal Agencies around the world, coordinating and directing protection, humanitarian and counter-terrorism operations and facilitating advanced training programs. He has also worked with Federal and State Agencies and the Inspector General’s Office directing investigations, implementing program audits, and directing policy and program development. Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology & Psychology and a Post Graduate Fellowship in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College. He is also a credentialed Physical Security Specialist (PSS), Incident Commander, and Emergency Management Specialist. Steve is happily married to Sandy for over 33 years, and a proud father to Hannah and Jackson. Steve is an avid outdoorsman, and a dedicated supporter of the Navy SEAL Association, other veterans, and humanitarian organizations. Steve is a believer in Christ, active in his church, and a living the life of a servant leader. |
